Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces spaghetti, dry
  • 1 teaspoons garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, white, whole
  • 12 ounces lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 dry cup squash, yellow zucchini
  • 1 dry cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, ground
  • 28 ounces tomato sauce
Preparation:
  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain in colander and reserve until ready to serve.
  • Lightly spray large, non-stick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and onions and cook until lightly brown. Add the turkey in small chunks and cook until no longer pink.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 3 minutes.
