Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti, dry
- 1 teaspoons garlic, chopped
- 1 onion, white, whole
- 12 ounces lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup tomato, chopped
- 1/2 dry cup squash, yellow zucchini
- 1 dry cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasonings
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, ground
- 28 ounces tomato sauce
Preparation:
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain in colander and reserve until ready to serve.
- Lightly spray large, non-stick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and onions and cook until lightly brown. Add the turkey in small chunks and cook until no longer pink.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 3 minutes.
