PINEAPPLE-GLAZED SMOKED HAM WITH PINEAPPLE CLOVE SAUCE

- Ingredients
- 6 pounds boneless applewood low sodium smoked ham
- ¼ cup pineapple orange juice, reduced (6 oz can pineapple orange juice)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard, optional
- 10-15 whole cloves
Directions
Heat ham according to package directions. Remove ham from the oven 30 minutes before it is done. Score ham with a sharp knife in diamond pattern ¼ inch deep, about 1 inch apart. Stick a clove in the center of each diamond.
PINEAPPLE CLOVE SAUCE
- 1 8-oz can crushed pineapple (in its own juice)
- ½ to 1 teaspoon ground clove
In a nonstick skillet, add crushed pineapple and clove, stirring. Heat to a boil. Reduce liquid slightly. Place in a small, warm serving bowl. Spoon over sliced ham.
